Cathal McGloin – Chief Executive Officer
Cathal is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in the Enterprise IT industry in the USA and Europe. He was the founder and CEO of Performix Technologies, a leader in call center performance management solutions. More recently, Cathal was President of Aran Technologies Inc. in the US, a leading provider of CEM solutions for the telecoms industry, which was acquired in 2009. Cathal has served on the boards of several technology start-ups and is a member of the North American Advisory Board of the Michael Smurfit Business School. Cathal holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School and a BE from University College Dublin. Based in the USA since 2000, he splits his time developing the business in Europe and the USA.
Mícheál Ó Foghlú – Chief Technical Officer
Mícheál was the Executive Director Research at the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) from 2004-2010. A pioneer of internet technologies and web-based development in Ireland, Mícheál has a strong academic background in IP networking and artificial intelligence. Mícheál is Director of the Irish National IPv6 Centre, chair of the Irish National IPv6 Task Force, member of the Advisory Committee of the Word Wide Web Consortium, member of the Advisory Council of the Internet Society (ISOC). He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Communications Society, ACM, USENIX and SAGE. Mícheál has published over 46 peer-reviewed publications in the past 9 years. He holds a doctorate in education from the University of Sheffield, two masters degrees from Cambridge University and from the University of Central Lancashire, and a BA from the University of Keele.
Elaine Fennelly – Finance Director
An Economics and Accounting Graduate from LSE, Elaine has gathered over 20 years experience in Financial roles. Elaine has led the Finance function in Feedhenry since incorporation managing start up, cashflows, audits and board reporting. Prior to Feedhenry Elaine was involved in many start up companies including Zolk C Ltd and Waterford Technologies Ltd where she was the Financial Controller for 7 years and a key member of the Management Team during the period where the company expanded into the UK and the USA. Elaine has extensive large corporate experience ranging from Intel Ireland ( 3 yrs), Fujitsu ( 3 yrs), GlaxoSmithKline (2 yrs) & Bausch and Lomb Ireland ( 7yrs) working in Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Project Accountant & Capital Accountant roles. Elaine’s interest in Finance does not stop at her day job – she has lectured for over 4 years in Waterford Institute of Technology in Economics and Financial Accounting, she was also involved in Intel Outside, a volunteer program for teaching Internet Usage to local schools.
Joe Blake, VP Sales (Europe)
Joe has over fifteen years general management experience, leading sales teams and consulting within the technology, enterprise solutions and SaaS sector. He has founded a successful technology company operating in Ireland as well helping to grow from start up, other international software companies in the EU and US including Performix Technologies (acquired by NICE Systems, Nasdaq: NICE). Joe is responsible for executing sales strategy and leading the sales process directly in the market in addition to working closely with our strategic partners across EMEA. He holds two BA honours degrees in Business Studies and in Marketing.
John Frizelle – Chief Architect
John has over 8 years experience in high volume / high reliability software development. He has worked with FeedHenry since January 2008, initially as a Senior Software Engineer, and more recently as the Chief Architect. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing from the Waterford Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Communications Software.
James Mernin – Operations Manager
James has over 18 years experience in the data storage and telecoms industries and has held a number of senior positions with Adaptec, Inc. and Eurologic Systems Ltd. (now Sanmina SCI). He has also managed a number of successful Enterprise Ireland projects. He holds a Masters degree in Communications Software from the Waterford Institute of Technology and was responsible for the creation of the highly scalable, fault tolerant network that hosts the FeedHenry cloud platform.
Joe O’Reilly – Manager, Professional Services
Joe has over 16 years experience in the IT & Telecoms Industry having worked with companies such as Motorola, Lucent Technologies, SteelTrace and Compuware Corporation where he held a number of senior and lead technical positions. He holds an honours Software Engineering degree from the Institute of Technology Carlow and now heads our Professional Services team working closely with clients to extend their market presence via FeedHenry’s cloud-based Solutions.
