Skills & Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, build, test and maintain high quality software in a diverse range of languages using an Agile Methodology
  • Conduct advanced and complex engineering tasks
  • Evaluate products & technologies, makes recommendations and presents reports.
  • Work with customers and partners to deploy and utilise our products
  • Implement enterprise system integration – VPNs, web services & scripting
  • Maintain technical competency in all aspects of our technology & market
  • Mentor junior developers

Programming Languages & Technologies we use

  • Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Ruby, ObjectiveC, C#, Tomcat, Node.js, Apache, MySQL, MongoDB, Memcached, Redis

Background & Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in software development
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new languages & technologies
  • Ability to work under own direction and also as part of a team
  • Good communications skills – written & verbal
